Illustradays brings to Athens a piece of creativity from each corner of the world. At the same time, it brings to the world the 1st illustration festival in Greece. And that means only one thing: welcome to a colorful and inclusive celebration.
Get ready to meet colorful creatures captured in artworks and books, emerging artists grabbing their pens, inspiring experts sharing their secrets with the community and parents who can’t wait to sneak into the next activity along with their restless kids.
Le immagini della fantasia, a renowned, 38-year-old, international illustration exhibition, leaves this September the cute, little village of Sarmede in Italy and arrives in Greece, leading to many jaw-dropping moments when people first discover what a kid’s book can hide 📚 And as if this exhibition isn’t magical enough, illustradays sets the stage for more creative voices to be heard and more colors to be mixed. Illustrators based in Greece get the chance to use their sketchbooks (or tablets), prepare new pieces and share the stage with artworks from all over the world. In the meantime, our workshops are fostering the next generation of junior illustrators while all festival’s friends explore how illustration will finally conquer the creative world (✌) through talks, fun activities, networking and interactive corners.
