DQ Media, a digital media company based in Limassol, is looking for a talented and enthusiastic web and graphic designer to join its growing team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and talented web and graphic designer with an uncompromising desire to create outstanding design material.
The position will initially start as a remote work arrangement, due to the ongoing pandemic and to ensure staff safety.
Responsibilities:
- Research competitors and existing materials for design inspiration
- Conceptualise new design concepts, graphics and layouts
- Transform concepts into attractive and workable designs
- Create responsive web design that follows best practices and specifications
- Craft stunning visuals for other web purposes, such as; social media posts, storyboards for videos, digital advertisements, etc.
- Prepare print material and advertising material
- Coordinate with the content, development and marketing teams to prepare designs and materials
- Ensure all-around consistency in terms of style, images and branding
- Assist with brand and product development and attend team meetings / video calls
- Stay up to date with industry developments and design best practices
Requirements:
- Fluency in English – speaking and writing
- Minimum of 3 years’ working experience as a web and graphic designer
- A bachelor’s degree in art, design, or a related field
- Experience with creating storyboards and video design mockups is advantageous
- Possession of creative flair, originality and the ability to conceptualise
- Full working proficiency with the Adobe suite (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, etc)
- Highly proficient in all design aspects, including typography, colour selection and layout
- Full portfolio which demonstrates artistic flair and ability to design responsive webpage
- An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Understanding of UI and UX design is advantageous
- Eligibility to live and work in Cyprus/EU
