Aspasia Papadima is an associate professor in Cyprus University of Technology’s Multimedia and Graphic Arts Department. She has worked as a graphic designer in advertising and design agencies in Greece and Cyprus and has been involved in many important design projects as an advisor. Her research has been presented at international conferences and has appeared in a number of peer-reviewed academic journals, while her graphic and artistic work has been exhibited both in Cyprus and abroad. Her research interests include typographic design, Greek-Cypriot writing, urban graphic language, linguisitic/typographic landscape and cultural semiotics. She founded and coordinates Cyprus University of Technology’s Language and Graphic Communication Lab. She is also a  member of the Hellenic Semiotic Society.
