Savvas Xinaris has been a graphic designer based in Nicosia, Cyprus, since 2004. in his professional practice, He frequently uses typography to resolve visual communication problems. He is a founding member of the Cyprus Association of Graphic Designers and Illustrators (CAGDI). Savvas earned his Master of Arts degree in Graphic Design from the London College Of Communication (LCC), University of the Arts London, United Kingdom, in 2006, and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic and Advertising Design from Frederick Institute of Technology, Cyprus. He is a faculty member at the Arts and Communication Department at Frederick University and was the Coordinator for the BA Graphic and Advertising Design Program from 2008 to 2018.

In addition to his design work, he is actively engaged in researching typography and its position in Cyprus, with a particular focus on the development of poster art and the use of typography in local graphic design. He regularly presents his findings at seminars, conferences, and exhibitions. Savvas also writes articles and curates exhibitions, thus making evident his interest in graphic design and marking his commitment to its promotion in Cyprus and beyond.
