Yota Efthimiou was born in Paphos and lives in Nicosia. She is a designer and illustrator and in recent years has been working as a freelancer in her own studio. From a young age she liked to paint and express herself through the visual arts. She studied Graphic Arts and Advertising Design at Frederick University. She has worked in Leading Advertising Companies and Publishing Houses in Cyprus for 20 years. Starting from the position of graphic designer and later as art director. Over the years, she has designed and edited publications, magazines, books, advertisements, exhibitions, events and much more. She loves direct communication with her clients and partners. Her work is characterized by versatility and concerns the design of various applications, branding, package design and illustration. She has also taken part in various group art exhibitions. She has also held her first solo exhibition as part of an artistic triptych entitled “everything is connected” at “isnotgallery”.
