Marios Paschalidis

Marios Paschalidis is a visual communication designer and researcher whose work lies at the intersection of visual design and cultural studies. He employs applied design practices alongside interdisciplinary research, exploring the ways in which visual communication and typography shape cultural narratives and collective experiences.

He holds a BA in Graphic & Advertising Design and an MA in Visual Arts & Interdisciplinary Design from Frederick University, Cyprus, as well as an MA in Philosophy & the Arts from the Hellenic Open University. He is currently pursuing a Practice Based PhD in Typography and Visual Communication Archives at Cyprus University of Technology.

Marios has gained experience across academic, cultural, and institutional contexts, both locally and internationally. He has worked in higher education, cultural organizations, and European institutions, while also contributing to collaborative design initiatives that bring together multidisciplinary teams and practitioners.

His contributions have been recognized with several awards and distinctions, including international recognition at leading festivals and competitions. His work has been presented in exhibitions across Europe and supported by cultural, governmental, and educational institutions.
