GRID25: Dimension / January 17–19, 2025
The Association of Graphic Designers and Illustrators of Cyprus (EΓΕΚ) is organizing, for the third consecutive year, the GRID (Graphic & Illustration Design) conference, which will take place on January 17–19, 2025, at European University Cyprus. With the central theme “Dimension,” GRID25 will explore the concept of dimension as a boundary, framework, or new perspective in the field of graphic design and illustration, through presentations, screenings, workshops, and open discussions.
GRID25 features the exhibition “Two Pages – Nomadic Sketchbooks,” showcasing artists from around the world through works presented in sketchbooks. On the main day, January 18, eight speakers from Greece and Cyprus will approach the topic of dimension from different viewpoints. On the same day, there will also be an open discussion on AI and the Arts. On January 19, two hands-on typography and illustration workshops will further delve into the conference’s central theme, concluding the three-day event.
As one of the important initiatives of the Association of Graphic Designers and Illustrators of Cyprus, the conference aims to bring the community closer together, strengthening collaboration and networking among professionals and students. It offers participants an opportunity to expand their knowledge and exchange ideas and experiences with other creators.
EΓΕΚ is the official body representing graphic designers and illustrators in Cyprus, including professionals, freelancers, and educators. Through events like GRID, it supports creativity, cooperation, and professional development in the sector, highlighting the importance of visual communication and promoting innovation.
